Thanks for digging in far enough to find my first post.

Who Am I And What Am I Doing Here...

I'm an Aussie. I run a number of websites and have had a full time presence on the web for about the last 6 years. I am known in a number of virtual circles and everyone online just calls me JD.

My plan here at 1to1million is to create a blog outlining my attempts to make money online... But let me point out that there are much better ways to make money online, if you have the money to invest. So my true reason for setting this up is to guide you through the many legitimate systems to make money with live examples. This will allow you to jump on board with me at the ground floor of our respective projects and we can travel this road together.

If you come in late I will do my best to leaves some crumbs around to make catching up easy for you. I have actually been down this road before so I'll try and do my best to keep us on track and if we do wander off at times... Trust me I have a great sense of direction.


A Little About My Background

I have a long history in directing, producing and marketing for the entertainment industry. When I was teenager I created a visual comedy stage show and headed out on what became a seven year journey across every corner of the vast landscape that is Australia.

I went on to manage 3 successful businesses and eventually took a change of direction when I accepted an offer I couldn't refuse to become a Marketing Manager and set up a online store for an large audio visual company.

Fast forward to 2005... I created pedirectory.info which later changed its name to entropiadirectory.com, and for two and half years this has served as a major 'wiki based' fan site for the Entropia Universe community. If you haven't heard of Entropia Universe its listed in the 2008 Guinness World Records Book because of the "Most Expensive Virtual World Object" at $100,000 USD. I like to think of it as a thinking mans game because you can invest real money and withdraw real profits.


My World Goes To the Dogs

At the end of 2006 my professional career went pear shaped when a weird arse'd genetic condition turned into a full blow handicap that has now permanently restricted my ability to work in the conventional methods of a day job. That basically means that I am now in a situation where I need complete flexibility as to when, where and how I work.

I have spent the last six months changing my way of life and developing three new income streams:

• Affiliate marketing using Google Adwords.
  
• Offering websites and SEO services for local businesses.
• Learning how to create websites that make a lot of money.
  

I don't monetize the Entropia Universe Wiki which receives over 12 thousand unique visitors per month but I do have a number of other niche websites related to my passions.

Plans For 1 To 1 Million
The main thinking behind 1to1million.com is to offer you a glimpse as to how I begin turning 1 Dollar into 1 Million Dollars, granted you could be waiting a while but that's why I am inviting you in at the ground level.

Via a free opt-in email list and this blog I aim to offer complete transparency.

I will be exposing my greatest successes.

You get to see every single scratch I mark in the dirt.
You get to discover which of those scratches begin to run and which of these runs become streams.
I will disclose how I turn these streams into rivers and what has worked best of all.
I will work consistently towards a grand plan to eventually bring in a torrential flood by redirecting traffic from sites like Youtube using my visual theater skills. It should be a fun ride, I hope you can stick around.

I do have a lot of time available for this project and I am studying and working at this 8 hours a day.
